The Excelsior Bay Group is a team of fund development professionals committed to improving the effectiveness of the nonprofit sector. We provide services in two core areas - Fundraising Planning and Strategy and Board Recruitment and Development - in order to build the capacity of nonprofit organizations to more fully execute their missions.

Our focus is on helping our clients, both as organizations and individuals, to develop and implement effective, efficient strategies for fundraising growth.

At the Excelsior Bay Group, we take a “lifecycle” approach to our work with organizations. We believe that nonprofits move through a series of developmental stages, and that each is characterized by a specific set of challenges that must be mastered before progressing to the next stage in maturity or returning to growth from a state of decline.  

We will tailor a personalized approach, meeting you wherever your organization is currently. We bring a full range of development expertise, from development audits to capital campaign counsel, from grants strategy to board and staff development.
